Chemical recycling processes such as pyrolysis, gasification, and depolymerization generate feeds with highly variable and aggressive contaminant loads. Fine char, corrosion particles, and metal residues can quickly damage pumps, valves, and downstream reactors if they are not properly filtered.
FLUX large‑area polymer filters are designed for these harsh recycling environments, where robust construction and high dirt‑holding capacity are essential. Installed on pyrolysis oil lines, depolymerization loops, or monomer recovery circuits, the FLUX system captures solids before they reach sensitive units. This helps protect catalysts, reduce unplanned maintenance, and support more stable operation of chemical recycling plants.
Compared with conventional small‑area filters, the FLUX large‑area design offers much higher contaminant capacity and more stable pressure behavior, even when inlet quality fluctuates. This enables 5–50 µm filtration in demanding duties such as pyrolysis oil conditioning, PET glycolysis/methanolysis, and Nylon hydrolysis, while maintaining reasonable service intervals.
