Operations & Maintenance
Is the system delivered with heating oil?
No. The FLUX LAF System is shipped without any chemical fluids. The heating oil must be supplied and filled by the user in accordance with the instructions provided in the user manual.
How long do filter elements typically last?
Element lifetime depends on several process parameters, including contamination load, contaminant type, particle size distribution, filtration fineness, filter‑layer structure, and the available filtration area.
How quickly can I switch over from one filter set to the other?
Valve switch‑over time depends on the system size and the required ventilation period. Please note that ventilation refers to filling an empty filter set with polymer, and its duration is directly related to the internal volume that must be filled. In practice, manual systems can be switched over in under five minutes, while automated systems achieve significantly shorter times.
Is special training required to operate the system?
Our systems feature intuitive HMI controls and automated sequences. We provide comprehensive on-site commissioning and operator training as part of the installation.
How do I know when to change the filter elements?
The system monitors differential pressure (ΔP) in real-time and triggers automatic alerts or switch-overs the valves when the preset limit is reached.
